Food, in the end, in our own tradition, is something holy. It's not about nutrients and calories. It's about sharing. It's about honesty. It's about identity.
I grew up with my mother cooking her mother's recipes. Although we struggled, we seemed to always eat well. Food- good food, shared food- has always played an important part in my life. I have worked as a line chef in college, have eaten pizza in Naples, Italy, have photographed and observed top chefs from Cordon Blue to CIA. I love to cook and love to watch food being made. I love photographing food and of course I love eating food!
